1. Introduction

These are General Terms and Conditions to manage purchases and customer relations of Hidden Games Ltd. (Business ID: 3124158-7). Hidden Games Ltd. offers story-driven outdoor escaperooms to travellers in Helsinki, for individuals and businesses. The customer groups shall be referred from this point forwards only as “customer”. Our outdoor escaperooms shall be referred from this point forwards only as “game”.

Games are played with mobile devices in which the users have the link to play the game. By participating our games you agree that Hidden Games Ltd. is not liable any direct or indirect damages that arise in any way. Customer agrees to communicate this liability to any person that is invited to play the game. Our games are situated in the most lively part of Helsinki, with people, cars, trams, trucks, more people, horses, and such. So stay safe, and keep the eye on the road, even though your mobile is your guide.

Outdoor Escaperoom is connected by various checkpoints which takes roughly one to two hours to solve. Players need to solve puzzles that are situated at these checkpoints. If players are able to solve the puzzle, they proceed to the next checkpoint. If players are unable to solve it, they can use a clue. If players use final clue in current checkpoint, they will have only limited time to answer to the question. If they are unable to solve the puzzle until the time has ran out, they will be guided to the next checkpoint, and provided with a new puzzle.

Our games are a works of fiction that has received its inspiration from historical persons and events. Names, characters, ventures, companies, buildings, events and dramatis personae are fiction or used in fictive manner. All references to historical personae are partly fiction and should be regarded as such.

2. General Terms and Conditions Outdoor Escaperooms

2.1. Ordering from our Online Store

Veiledtracks.fi online store products are sold by Hidden Games Ltd. For a successful order, we need your first name, last name, email address, phone number and number of players. If you don’t give an e-mail address, we are unable to finish your order. If you are a minor, you have to make the order together with your custodian. All our prices include VAT. We reserve the right change the prices at any time. Information given to Hidden Games Ltd. is strictly confidential and will not be given to third parties apart from state authorities in special cases.

By clicking “Place order” button, customers make a binding offer to purchase one or more games. One game ticket is meant for maximum of five persons.

2.2. Orders

Products are sold via internet service from the address https://www.veiledtracks.fi/ online store by including them in a basket. All the orders are confirmed with email, where the price including VAT is included. The contract is in effect when Hidden Games Ltd. has sent an email with confirmation of reservation and a link to your account in Hidden Games game web application. Confirmation of an order requires a valid email.

2.3. Confirmation of an order

We send confirmation of an order with email, which has the proof of transaction, and your order.

2.4. Cancellations and Changes

The customer can cancel their reservation within a 14-day cancellation period which begins from the time at which confirmation of an order including game link has been delivered to the customer. Cancellations have to be informed by email to info(a)veiledtracks.fi. When refund is accepted and processed, money will be sent to your account in 1 – 3 bank days.

Activation of the game is counted as use of product, and thus is not refundable.

2.5. Delivery of the game

All the games will be delivered by email to your email address.

2.6. Right to the game

A game will be valid for a one year after the purchase. After the game has been finished, you can see your stats from the link.

2.7. Customer support

If you need technical support, support is available by telephone by calling support numbers provided in the start of the game. If you are unable to start, please call +358400283556. Support is available in English and Finnish.

2.8. Technical specifications

To play the adventure you need at least one smartphone with working internet connection. Javascript must be enabled to play the game. Game is browser based, and it has been tested with current distributions of Safari mobile (iOS) and Google Chrome (Android OS).

2.9. Copyright

All the information, images, texts and creative material are property of Hidden Games Ltd. Any publication of the Hidden Games game material is forbidden under civil and/or criminal law.

3. Payment methods and providers

3.1. Payment methods by bank transfer

You will be able to pay with all Finnish banks. You can pay with Aktia, Danske Bank, Handelsbank, Nordea, Oma Säästöpankki, Osuuspankki, POP-pankki, Säästöpankki, S-pankki or Ålandsbanken. You will be taken from our online store to your bank to finish the payment safely from Checkout.fi website.

3.2. Payment methods by credit card

You will be able to pay with Visa- Visa Debit-, Visa Electron-, MasterCard-, Debit MasterCard – and American Express -cards. Online store has international Verified by Visa -, MasterCard SecureCode – ja American Express SafeKey -verification services. Credit transfer will be done on Checkout.fi website. Your credit card details will not be saved for future purchases.

3.3. Payment Service Providers

Paytrail Plc acts as a collecting payment service provider and is an authorized Payment Institution. Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Plc will forward the payment to the merchant. For reclamations, please contact the website the payment was made to.

4. Consumer reclamation

In a situation that you need any legal advice regarding our products, which we try all our best that you wouldn’t need to, we suggest that you first take contact to Consumer Helping phone 029 5053050 on working days from 9 – 15. Remember to prepare all the material regarding your case before calling to the phone. Price is regular telephone fare. Afterwards, you can go take your case to kuluttajariitalautakunta, which is equipped to solve cases regarding consumer products. But we certainly hope, that things don’t need to come to that. Always reach us first, and we will certainly come to a solution that is agreeable to both sides.
