2. What personal data we collect and why we collect it

2.1. Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

2.2. Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

2.3. Billing & contact forms

We collect your personal data in order to store it to our customer register after you fill out our Checkout site, to send the adventure link to you after purchase and to handle customer relations. Customer data is collected and saved as required by law according to personal data act (10 and 24 §) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2.4. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies. Cookies are small text files that browser saves to the device you are browsing our site with to collect information. Cookies is saved to your computer to analyse how you interact with our website. Cookies can’t harm your end device or your data. Cookies makes things easier for you to use our webpage, and we can analyse how to make our website more accessible and functional.

We use Google Analytics service provided by Google to track how people engage our site. Google Analytics uses cookies. We use this tracking code on our sites. Note that these cookies will be moved and saved to Google’s servers that some of them are located outside EU and are maintained with local privacy legislation.

Using Google Analytics is more of a norm in web analytics, and it is used in many web services that you use everyday. This tracking is done anonymously and user can’t be connected to the data gathered ie. during billing.

For example, we use this data to make our pages more appealing and accessible. 2.5. Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

3. Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Generally, your data will not be sent outside European Union or ETA region, only when anonymized in use of the Google Analytics service. However, should you opt-in for the newsletter, your contact details will be stored in our Mailchimp account to send you our new releases and offers to recurring customers. Mailchimp participates in and has certified its compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework.

4. How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Information in contact & billing forms is stored until when they are no longer needed to maintain customer relations or bookkeeping, generally for 5 years.

If you opt-in for the newsletter, your contact details will be stored at our MailChimp account until you unsubscribe.

5. How we protect your data

The register is handled with care and data is protected accordingly. When information of customer registrar is saved in Internet server, their physical and digital data protection is handled accordingly. Hidden Games Ltd. makes sure that saved information and the rights to servers and other critical user information is handled confidentially and only by the staff that is part of their work description.

6. What rights you have over your data

If you have made a purchase on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us and check or request to change them. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.
